This poster is for an incredibly cheezy yet famous 50's science fiction movie, "Attack of the 50 Foot Woman." My Dad made me watch this as a kid and we got a big kick out of it.  Later movies spoofed this film as a one of the more terrible examples of early film production and special effects. Science fiction movies earned a particularly bad reputation after a boom of interest in the 1950s.  Some of the tag lines for the movie include, "A titanic beauty spreads a macabre wave of horror! A terrifying masterpiece of shock and chills!" And, "See a female colossus... her mountainous torso, skyscraper limbs, giant desires!" One could also infer a great deal about what the movie says about 1950s gender issues.
